In the last five years we have worked extensively with the HSE both at a national and a local level, primarily around mental health and suicide prevention. This work includes:

• Preparation of Connecting for Life, Donegal’s Suicide Preventon Plan 2015 – 2020
• Support to the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention in the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance process for 17 local suicide prevention plans, aligned to the national strategy
• Support in the preparation of local suicide prevention plans for Galway, May and Roscommon ((Community Health Organisation (CHO) 2)), Sligo and Leitrim (CHO 1), Cavan and Monaghan (CHO 1), Wexford (Cho 5), Dublin North Ciry and County (CHO 9)
• Facilitation for the Learning Community of Practice (LCOP) for the national network of the Resource Officers for Suicide Prevention
• Development and management of the Evaluation Approach for the 17 local suicide prevention plans
• Identification and showcasing of innovative practice in the 17 local suicide prevention plans
• Training and Education support to the National Office for Suicide Prevention
